6 Flavours You Should Try At The Launch of Ben & Jerry’s Malaysia

Have you heard? The first ever Ben & Jerry’s ice cream store in Malaysia will be opening its doors to Malaysian fans in September at Sunway Pyramid. In anticipation of that, we’re making list of flavours that you should try when the store is finally open!

Totally Baked

Totally Baked (and Half Baked) is the best-selling Ben & Jerry’s flavour and it’s for all the right reasons. It’s been a fan favourite for awhile, and we have no complaints on that. Who wouldn’t want to enjoy 2 scoops of chocolate and vanilla ice cream with fudge brownies and chocolate chip cookie dough?

Strawberry Cheesecake

The Strawberry Cheesecake was one of the first few flavours that helped Ben & Jerry’s reach the top of the ice cream chain. It might be a common flavour, but no one does it like B&J — it literally tastes like a frozen slice of strawberry cheesecake!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

You know when you’re baking cookies, and you leave excess dough in the bowl for… scientific purposes? Ben & Jerry’s turned that into an actual ice cream flavour that has been one of their top selling ones for years.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

Everyone can make chocolate fudge brownie ice cream — but not everyone can perfect it. It’s usually either too sweet, too chocolate-y or even too creamy. B&J managed to find a middle ground, and has since excelled in all things chocolate fudge brownie.

Peanut Butter Cup

The secret to a good peanut butter flavoured is simple: just more peanut, dammit! Most ice cream parlours can be so kedekut with their peanut, to the point where it just tastes like butter ice cream. Well, B&J has always been known for being generous, and it’s Peanut Butter Cup flavour is breakfast-worthy!

Cherry Garcia

Malaysians are not known for two things: being fans of The Grateful Dead and cherries. Cherry Garcia was named after legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead, but since we don’t have much Grateful Dead fans here, it’s difficult to tell Malaysians’ reaction towards this flavour. However, it is a hit in the USA — so maybe this flavour can fly here too!
