Being vegan in Malaysia can be quite tricky and options may be limited. Especially when it comes to Asian food, we can be short of vegan choices.
But fear not!
Here is an easy-to-do vegan recipe that is beginner-friendly – which we’ll guarantee you’ll be able to do in under half an hour! Introducing the Vegan Tofu Pad Thai, which consists of crispy fried tofu to enhance the sweet and spicy Thai noodle dish!
4-5 pieces of fried tofu
1 serving of rice noodles
1 tablespoon of low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoon of brown sugar
2 tablespoon of sweet chili sauce
1 clove of garlic
1 red pepper
Mung bean sprouts
1. Slice the tofu into small cubes and transfer to a bowl
2. Cook noodles per package directions, rinse with cold water and drain
3. In a small bowl, add soy sauce, sugar, chili sauce, lime juice and garlic
4. Heat the oil in a skillet on medium high heat. Add pepper and combine all ingredients together. Toss to combine.
