Gombak is home to cheap eats and stalls, but a group of foodies decided to take it up a notch by introducing KANTIN, a modern-style food court featuring branches of famous stall brands from across the country.
The most famous entry, is the 3 Budak Gemok, as featured in our spicy chicken article Here. 3 Budak Gemok, which first exploded to stardom at Desa Sri Hartamas, knew that the Gombak market is too big to ignore, hence its decision to be one of the main players at KANTIN Gombak.
Another stall that has kept Gombak residents coming is Sup Che Ton, an eatery that’s known for its humongous gearbox soup. The gearbox soup is so big, it can be even bigger than your arm!
The curators of KANTIN definitely knows its target audience, as the stalls that were selected have unique selling points that are able to peak the interest of potential customers including Kelantanese cuisine gerai House of Kerabu, Korean dessert stall BING SU-EAT 19, oden at Dee Sepet and otak-otak at Otakking.
The hub also has regular busking performances to keep customers entertained and a child-friendly area for family crowds especially during the weekend.
